audio rates & scheduling


hourly & package rates for recording sessions

$40 / hour - 2 hour minimum

book 3 - 10 hours – $35 /hr

book 11 - 20 hours – $30 /hr

book 21 hours or more - $25 /hr (prepaid)

engineer and producer services are provided at no cost during session time.

drum setup - while there is no actual fee for setup it is not included. setting up live drums and getting them miked and dialed in will usually take an additional hour. please take that into consderation when deciding how much time to book for your session.

*also please understand that for every two or three songs (depending on how complex they become), one additional hour of post-production time is generally needed to ensure the best quality of the recording and finished product.

when the project is complete and all studio fees have been paid you'll be given the final version of your project (mastered or unmastered, whichever you prefer). upon request you may also get the master tracks burned to a disc. if you discover something you wish to change within 10 days of the completion date you may book a single 2 hour session free of charge. after this period all studio time will be charged at the regular rates.

  • audio recording sessions

    • see rates outlined above and don't forget to check out our full Album Production Package (includes recording time, artwork, and CD duplication w/ jewel cases).

  • commercial audio

    • each project is different obviously due to audio length, style, instrumentation, and the time it will take to write music that suits your needs, therefore rates may vary. Please inquire via phone or email.

  • live sound production

    • live sound engineer is $120 for 4 hours, $25 each additional hour. contact us for details on full live sound production package and PA rental (higher rates apply).

  • audio restoration / media transfer

    • direct transfer with no editing = $25 + ($.25 x program time). i.e. 60 min = $25 + $15 = $40. advanced restoration services = $75 + ($.25 x program time). includes track ID's and one copy of finished project with additional copies at $2.50 each.

  • audio forensics

    • audio forensics service is a flat fee of $100 for samples of 10 minutes or less, and $150 for samples of 10 - 20 minutes. Anything over 20 minutes will be $200 plus $5 per additional minute of audio.

  • mixing, mastering, post-production

    • $40 /hr, then priced according to session rates. includes one copy of finished project with additional copies at $2.50 each.

  • session musicians

    • hourly fee may vary depeding on the player, and can be anywhere from $50 - $100 per song. one guitar solo will probably cost you less than needing the guitarist to play on every track. typically drums are a little more expensive due to set up time, learning the song, and getting the right take. but chances are, we'll be able to get you what you need at very little expense.

we try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate everyone’s busy schedule. sessions can be booked from 10am till 10pm monday through saturday. dates and times are subject to availability so it’s important to schedule sessions with enough advance notice. session time booked more than 7 days in advance requires a 25% down payment due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due in full at the end of the session. due to the nature of this business and the difficulty of trying to rebook sessions at short notice all cancellations require a minimum of 5 days notice. your time is important, as is ours, so please print a copy of our studio policies for more information.
